Public Transport

Hammersmith Broadway is less than 10 minutes walk and serviced by the Piccadilly, District & Hammersmith & Circle Lines. Hammersmith is also a major hub for many bus routes.

Uber/Taxis

We recommend using the postcode for Sam's Kitchen, 17 Crisp Rd, W6 9RL - Crisp Walk is the walk way leading directly to the river and Sam’s Riverside

Parking

Queen Caroline Street and Crisp Road both have plenty of pay & display parking bays (max 2 hour stay).
Distillery Road (W6 9AD) offers longer parking and is less than 5 minutes walk from the restaurant.
For anything longer than 2 hours we recommend Distillery Road (W6 9AD)

Dietary Requirements Do you accommodate allergies?If you have any concerns regarding allergens, please don’t hesitate to contact us in advance. Alternatively, inform your server about any allergies or intolerances when you arrive, and they will assist you in navigating our menu options. Please note that due to the open-plan nature of our kitchen, we cannot guarantee that menu items are completely free from traces of allergens.
Do you have vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?Yes, we offer a variety of dishes across our menus to cater for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets.
However, please note that due to our kitchen environment, we cannot guarantee that dishes are completely free from traces of allergens.
Do you have Halal dining options?At this time, we do not serve Halal meats. However, we offer a diverse selection of seafood, vegetarian, and vegan dishes to accommodate a variety of dietary preferences.

Accessibility Is your restaurant wheelchair accessible?Yes, our restaurant is fully wheelchair accessible. We’re located on the ground floor, with accessible restrooms available on the same level.
Our Terrace also features accessible tables; these are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you arrive early, we’ll do our very best to accommodate you comfortably.

Children Can we bring our Pushchair?Yes, we’re happy to accommodate pushchairs at your table whenever space allows. Due to limited room, we kindly ask that you note this in your booking when making a reservation so we can seat you all comfortably.
Do you have highchairs?Yes, we do. Highchairs are available upon request. To help us prepare for your visit, please mention this in your booking notes and let us know in advance.
Do you have a Kid’s Set Menu?Absolutely! We offer a specially curated Children’s Menu. When making a reservation, please ensure all children are included in your party size so we can prepare your table accordingly.

Dogs Are you dog friendly?We warmly welcome well-behaved dogs on a lead. If you plan to bring your canine companion, please let us know in advance and include this in your booking notes. This helps us ensure you're seated in a suitable area for everyone's comfort.
Please note that dogs must remain on the floor and are not permitted on banquettes or chairs. We also kindly ask that dogs are not fed during your visit.

Reservations Can I reserve just for drinks?Unfortunately, we do not accept reservations for drinks only. However, we welcome walk-in guests and will always do our best to accommodate you as quickly as possible at our bar.
Can I add more guests to my booking?You can update your reservation details using the ‘Manage Reservation’ button in your booking confirmation. For last-minute changes, please call our Reception team, who will be happy to assist you, subject to availability.

Please note:
- Party size changes up to 24 hours before your reservation can usually be accommodated.
- For larger parties (6 guests or more), we recommend notifying us at least one week in advance to ensure availability and proper seating arrangements.
What if I am running late?If you are running late, please give us a call to let us know. We’re happy to hold your table for up to 15 minutes from your reservation time.
Do you keep tables for walk-ins?Yes, we do reserve a limited number of tables on our Terrace and occasionally at the Bar for walk-in guests. While we’ll always do our best to accommodate you, we strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment - especially during busy periods or special occasions.

Cancellations What if I need to cancel my booking?For reservations of four guests or more, card details are required to secure your booking. Please note that if payment details are not completed, pay-links will expire after 48 hours, and the reservation will be automatically released.Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking are subject to a charge of £20 per person.

If you need to make last-minute changes to your booking or amend guest numbers, please contact our Reception Team who will be happy to assist.

Sun Terrace Can I have drinks only on the terrace?Due to licensing restrictions, we’re unable to offer drinks-only service on our terrace. A substantial meal or small plates must accompany your order.

However, we would be happy to accommodate you for drinks at our Bar counter or High-top tables, subject to availability. While we can’t guarantee seating, we’ll always do our best to find you a spot.
Can I book a table on the terrace?Terrace tables are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and unfortunately cannot be reserved in advance. If you’d like to sit outside, we recommend arriving early for lunch or dinner with an indoor reservation and our team will do their best to seat you on our terrace, subject to availability.

Large Parties Can I book for a large group?For parties of 12 guests, we can accommodate your group within the main dining area.

For bookings over 12 guests, please visit our Private Dining page to get in touch with our Private Dining Room & Events team, who will be happy to assist with your reservation.

Celebrations Can I bring my own cake?Yes, of course. Please note there is a cakeage fee of £5 per person, which will be added to your final bill and includes serving and plateware.

We also require a signed liability release form. We’ll be happy to cut and serve your cake - and even add candles - just let us know in advance.
Can I place an order for a commissioned cake?Yes, we offer a range of cakes available to order. Please contact our Reception Team to discuss your requirements. Kindly note we require a minimum of three days’ notice to allow our Pastry Chefs to prepare your cake.

Available cake options include:
- Classic Victoria Sponge Cake
- Red-Velvet Cake
- Chocolate Cake
- Flourless Chocolate Clementine Cake:

Our small celebration cakes are ideal for 6 to 9 guests and are available at £45.

For larger gatherings, our generously sized cakes serve 9 to 18 guests and are priced at £70.
We are coming to celebrate; can you organise something special?Absolutely! When making your booking, please let us know the occasion in the reservation notes.

We would be delighted to prepare a special dessert plate to celebrate your guest of honour.

Corkage Can I bring my own wine?Yes, you are welcome to bring your own wine. Please note that corkage fees apply as follows: £30 per bottle for still red or white wine, £50 per bottle for sparkling wine, £60 for a magnum, and £120 for a double magnum.

The corkage charge will be added to your final bill and includes glassware.

Theatre Set Menu Do you have a pre – post theatre menu?Guests are welcome to choose from our À La Carte or Riverside Set Menu, and we can expedite service to accommodate your show timings.

Please mention your theatre plans when booking or inform our Reception Team upon arrival so we can ensure your meal is served promptly, allowing you to enjoy your dinner without missing the show.

Pre-Orders & Pre-Payments I would like to pre-order some drinks for my friend’s reservation.Sparkling wine and Champagne can be pre-ordered through our reservation's widget at the time of booking. For any changes or additional requests, please contact our Reception Team directly. Kindly note that we require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for all pre-orders.
I would like to pre-pay for my reservation and treat my party without the bill coming to the table. How can I arrange this?Absolutely - please contact our Reception Team at reservations@samsriverside.co.uk to arrange pre-payment.
We can securely add this to your booking and ensure the bill does not come to the table, so you can treat your guests seamlessly.

Dress Code What is your dress code?We have a relaxed approach to dress and welcome you to come as you feel comfortable.

Gift Vouchers
You can purchase gift vouchers on our Gift Vouchers page. They make a perfect gift for any occasion.

Coat Check Can I leave my coat or bag?We are happy to take coats and bags for your convenience. However, please note that we cannot accept responsibility for any valuables left with us.

Wait List
Yes, you can join our digital waitlist through the ‘Make a Reservation’ tab on our website. Simply click the ‘Alert Me’ button, and you’ll receive an SMS notification with a direct booking link as soon as a table becomes available for your preferred time.

Taxi Can you please book me a taxi?Of course. Please ask our Reception team, who will be happy to assist you with booking a taxi.

Transport & Parking Where can I park my car?There is pay-and-display parking available nearby on Queen Caroline Street and Crisp Road (maximum stay: 2 hours).

For longer visits, we recommend parking on Distillery Road — just a 5-minute walk from the restaurant.

Alternatively, secure underground parking is available within the Fulham Reach development, with entry located at the end of Crisp Road.
What is the closest tube station?Hammersmith Tube Station is the nearest, just a short walk from the restaurant and served by the Piccadilly, District, Circle, and Hammersmith & City lines.
I’m arriving by boat. Where can I moor?You may moor at Hope Pier, just a 6-minute walk from the restaurant. Alternatively, Dove Pier is nearby as well, approximately a 9-minute walk from our location.
