We've been raising a glass to 21 years of Sam's, and there's another evening to look forward to: a Gusbourne Wine Dinner at our sister restaurant, Sam's Waterside in Brentford, on Tuesday 10 November.
A complimentary glass of Gusbourne to celebrate
As part of our 21st anniversary celebrations with Gusbourne, we're offering a complimentary glass of Gusbourne Brut on arrival. A lovely way to raise a glass to 21 years of Sam's.
English wine has come on enormously over the last few years and, in my opinion, Gusbourne continues to produce the very best with their sparkling and still wines.
Many of you will already know their Brut and Blanc de Blancs from visiting the restaurants. This is a chance to learn more about the winery and try their other wines, paired with a menu specially created for the evening.
A Gusbourne Wine Dinner at Sam's Waterside
I'll be joining Steve Kirkham from Gusbourne to host the evening at Waterside. If you know their wines from visiting us in Hammersmith, this is a chance to discover more over dinner in Brentford.
We'll start with oysters and a glass of English sparkling wine, followed by a four-course tasting menu with wine pairing.
7pm arrival for a 7:30pm start.

Gusbourne is based at Appledore in Kent, near the Sussex border. The dinner offers a chance to learn more about the estate and the sparkling and still wines it produces.
And if that's not enough, all those who book tickets will be entered into a special prize draw to win an Estate tour and lunch for two at the winery. We'll announce the winner on the night.
I hope to see some familiar Riverside faces at Waterside, so we can raise a glass together and continue our anniversary celebrations.
